Requirements For Superior HeNe Power Supplies

Helium Neon (HeNe) lasers are among the most versatile and widely used gas laser systems in existence today.

Laser Drive is the leading producer of power supplies for HeNe lasers. Power supplies from Laser Drive are characterized first and foremost by outstanding performance. They are typically small in size, utilizing high energy conversion technology which produces efficiencies greater than 75%. High energy conversion efficiency helps achieve cool and reliable operation without heatsinking.

Correctly matched power supplies produce a high level of reliability, and all Laser Drive supplies are feedback regulated.

The "T" series power supplies feature exclusive output current filters which yields laboratory quality DC output current with a very low ripple component. The exclusive Laser Drive "T" series versions are all fully protected against output fault conditions including short circuits, open circuits and repeated arcs to ground. They meet CDRH requirements of 3-7 second time delay, with a user selectable feature on most models. They also meet requirements for safety agencies, UL, CUL, and TUV to 950 standard.

Universal two-pin high voltage connectors are standard on most models, however other input/output configurations are available.

The MTBF of Laser Drive's "T" series power supplies is typically greater than 100,000 hours.
